Same problem, connection error occurs while trying to open the game, impossible to play

Ive played this game since 11/15. It is now 5/16 , And I just got through the game. No payoff. I think they will just keep opening more rooms and at some point, there will be a guilty party (we all know who that is) but for now, nothing. There is an energy problem, the game ads for more energy crashes and the whole game will crash at will. They should fix this thing asap. Kind of a waste of time.

I normally dislike this type of game. Maybe its my love of the show, or perhaps my new glasses allow me to actually see well enough to play properly, but Ive been playing this one for 2 straight hours so I have to give it 5 stars.

Beautiful graphics but crashes every time I play. Lose whatever I am working on at time of crash. Nicely complicated game but will not keep playing because of frustration with constant crashes. Sad.

I loved the game until I reached level 30 up dated every room including the pantry. Now I have upgraded the inventory to 200 the top thats possible and I have over 500 diamonds but it will NOT open. Very unhappy as another reviewer said after the show ended did the game end also? Please fix the bugs so I can play again.

I cant even try the game because it keeps saying make sure I am connected to my network. Very disappointing!!!

Im so frustrated with this game. The developers walked away and forgot about it. There are so many bugs and crashes. Ive been trying to finish it for months now but it seems like some items are simply not programmed to drop! It had the potential to be such a great game. Im terribly disappointed. The Dowager wouldnt waste her time with this.

06/06/16: Ive downgraded this from 3 stars to 1, because the game has been inaccessible for the last two days. The message says I should check my network connection--my connection is fine, theirs is not. Since Ive been logging in daily to get the bonuses, not being able to log in due to problems on their end has not left me feeling charitable towards this game, or this company. Bad show, chaps! --------------- If you like hidden object games, youll probably like this one. Its very pretty. The problem is that there are quests you need to complete--like get the baking tray from the kitchen. So you go to the kitchen and find the objects there--and the baking tray isnt one of them. So you play the room again--still no joy. So you do it again...and again... And as youre doing all these repetitive searches, which cost 22 points each, you run out of energy. You can only amass 100 energy points at a time, which means you can search at most 4 rooms at one go. You can earn 50 energy points per day by watching ads--but 50 energy points dont go very far. Also, the more you play a room, the more objects show up in it--and the time you have to search becomes much, much shorter. It would have been nice if they had set up the game so that each item found extended the time remaining, but if they did that, you wouldnt be tempted to buy energy. Oh, yes, people--you can buy energy and coins and gems. And believe me, the temptation to do so will be very strong, just to enable you to do something in this game. So, three stars because it looks good, with two stars lost because the developers didnt play fair with their gamers.

Have they shut this game down? Been playing for months. Very repetitive - have to craft the same items over and over - but still find some fun in it. The past two days, though, I keep getting an error message that I need to check my network connection. I AM connected. Every other thing on my iPad works. Seems like it is something on their end. Anyone else having issues?

Fun for a while. Then it wants you to pay to continue and becomes inactive if you do not. Deleting.

I love being able to unlock and explore the rooms of Downton!

Initially I enjoyed this game. I played through to level 30 on my phone but have lost interest in continuing now. It took forever to "find" the required number of things to unlock Ediths room and now the pantry is worse. I did not sync the game between devices as I play only free versions of games. It always crashes on my older model iPad. Other games and apps do not do this so Im feel sure it is the game. This game is in serious need of an update. I realize the series has ended but there are a good many fans still out there. I will be deleting it from my iPad since it is impossible to play without it crashing at least once or twice and loosing energy before the 100 in the bank has been expended. Also, 22 energy per search is not a good choice. It would be better if it were 20 or even better if it were less than that. It is also frustrating when you "make" something and collect it and it the game give you energy when the energy bank is full.

I loved this game for months. It got me through the reality of the show being finished. But then I beat all of the levels and completed all of the challenges and there is nowhere else to go. There are still dark rooms, please update them so we can play through.

Got the game. Opened it up. Gives me an error message that it cant load up. Tells me to check my internet connection, which is fine...and my mobile data connection, also fine. Ive tried various areas of connection. No go. Deleted and reloaded. Still nothing.

This is a really good game but it crashes every 5 minutes. Also, it doesnt give you all the energy you earn from completing missions and using 22 energy every time you play a room is too much. Please update!!!
